Hi. I got a 500E 1991
It has the original suspension.

Ive got a ser of BRABUS Monoblock V
They are.
Front 8.5 X 18" ET is 35
Rear 9.5 X 18" ET is 35

So how will they fit?
And what tires could be mounted.?
I was thinking some 245 front
275 rear

If they are to close inside i can use spacers, but if to far out it's a problem
Anyone with some knowladge and or eksperince?

These will fit perfectly on any 500E. Do not use spacers. Make sure to use the correct lug bolts. I forget if Brabus uses ball seat or cone seat.

245/40 and 275/35 will work fine.

Åhh Im so please to hear that. You made my day now. As I can't try the wheels on at the moment it's at a shot making a stainless ekshaust 2 kats 1 center mufler and an original brabus rear mufler. Front pipes from manifold coming down with no Bend to collect them at the right side as original.

So good to have the answer here from the decades of eksperinced owners. 😎👍🏽

Im looking forward to see the car with the brabus wheels and rear mufler from brabus so it has a brabus theme toutch🙂

Might trying to get brabus speedo to 320 as well. Just changing the original plate and gear inside brabus floormats and a rear brabus badge on the right side of trunk lit.
Some will find it cool others less.
But all will be done so it's return able to original state ✨

So I just wanted to try find the correct type of lug bolts. Nænd it seams to be the ball spheric type as mercedes also uses.

But along the AI walk through. It tells me something odd. Like those brabus monoblock V has a specific ET 30 if they were meant/designed for 124 500E so they recomend spacers from brabus 5mm to make clerance... Well i post here under what AI says. What do you make of that?

Citat.
Why Shank Length Matters on a W124 500EThe total length depends entirely on whether your Monoblock V wheels are the rare 500E-specific offsets or if they require the signature Brabus on-wheel spacer system.Standard Fitment (No Spacers): A 35mm shank length is ideal for aftermarket Brabus wheels. It ensures the critical 17mm to 20mm of thread protrusion out the back of the wheel face required to thread securely into the wheel hub. With 5mm Brabus Spacers: Many Brabus Monoblock wheels use an ET35 offset and require a 5mm integrated Brabus spacer to step out to ET30 for appropriate 500E clearance. If you use this 5mm spacer, step up to a 40mm shank length bolt.

AI is wrong on the spacers. And, you cannot use a 5mm spacer without losing the hubcentric feature of the hub. In general spacers are a PITA and should be avoided, except in unusual circumstances.

The shank length of the bolt is another question mark, but you may need to buy the wheels first and then figure out the bolts.

I got the wheels, fittet tires to day as mentioned because i got a good to go from here. 🙂 Can't wait to put them on the 500
Bolts should be easy to get from my local suplier. They have been i the merc game sinde the 80s and as long os i know it's ball shaped i can try with the difrent types i got as spares to see what firs best, critical mostly on the rear to go free of the drum P brake shoe assamble inside.
