WANTED WTB: 6cyl sportline sedan steering box

Sedan and wagon Sportline models have a quicker-ratio box vs standard. The S124 wagon Sportline was not offered in North America.

Coupé and cabrio standard boxes are slower ratio than normal, and their "Sportline" models have the same ratio as standard sedan/wagon.

There are 3 different 4/5/6 cylinder steering boxes - slow, medium, quick ratio:
  • Slow = Coupé & cabrio standard
  • Standard = Sedan and wagon standard, Coupé & cabrio Sportline
  • Quick = Sedan and wagon Sportline

You need the VIN of the donor to confirm the ratio. There's only about 1/4 turn difference on the input shaft. Most Sportline boxes do not have a readable part number etched on them (the casting numbers are the same on all boxes and does not help).
