Hello I am wondering how this is supposed to go together because it seems like they should just be pulled together but I am not sure.

A screw holds the bracket to the bumper. Make sure the bracket is not installed upside down or backwards. That bracket is NLA, IIRC.

Do you have a picture of how it looks for you? And what is the part number for the screw?
 
Does anyone know what the part number for the screw that is supposed to hold this together has? Or has a picture of it

I don't have EPC access at the moment so I can't check on the screw. Did you try searching the forum?

what? Even this piece is NLA!?
There was one left in USA in summer 2020, but I don't know how many were in Grrmany. MBCC currently shows no bueno:
