Do you have a picture of how it looks for you? And what is the part number for the screw?
I don't have EPC access at the moment so I can't check on the screw. Did you try searching the forum?

The spring nut goes on the bracket as seen in the picture.
Do not over tighten the screw or you will crack the flare/screw hole that’s on the bumper.
