wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving!

Taking the family out to Gustav's tonight for Thanksgiving dinner.

we were thinking about strapping the wagon to the dyno today. Is there any interest in videoing it and posting it on the forum?

With A/F ratio please. Oh, and post the .drf files too. Then can you punch it out to 6.0L and sell it to me cheap?

I figured you would chime in on that. We went to the Sunnyside Gustav's last night. A few years ago we hosted a German exchange student. Her parents came over to pick her up and do a little US tour in the process, so we took them out to Gustav's in Hollywood and they had a blast. They loved the strolling accordian player singing in German. A couple that had been so reserved suddenly sprang to life. It was a good time. My daughter went to their home in Leipzig for four weeks the following summer.

Yup, I saw you had both STD and SAE posted previously. 261 SAE is right on target. Get a 92 LH in there and it might bump to 270 SAE. Note that assuming 18% driveline loss, 261/0.82=318hp, within 1% of the rated 315.Just did another pull, 304tq and 261 hp. Sae corrected
And if you look I did the dyno graph in both Sae corrected and std corrected.
What's the most sad about the whole thing, I built it, lots of people said it wouldn't work....it drives great and everything works but I'm bored with it already.... Lol

Bored already, huh? I doubt it would be too hard to sell it!
And who said it wouldn't work? Sheesh, there are several wagons with this drive train in it...it's just that not too many people are willing or able to actually do the swap. Kudos to you for making it happen![]()

Single turbo, remote-mount would be the easiest install. Twin turbos up front would be a nightmare. So twin turbo or single , fuel management may be tricky. I best get on the definition file.

You still need to spend plenty of time and about 15K+ to make nice A124 with the M119 engine . The most exciting part is make an old mercedes better and better (condition wise).
In addition you can start gathering all possible options for 124 that you can install in A124. I do not know how come you get bored already ....
Probably can't afford it, but just curious, is it for sale with the cream interior or the black interior? And does the black interior have heated seats?Update.... All the small minor bugs worked out, alignment done...such a fun car to drive has turned into my daily driver. Finishing the e55 but I'll do a exhaust thread when I build the exhaust. Bored with car, will be up for sale if anyone is interested.

Hello Guest !
We wanted to let you know about a new resource that is now available to all 500Eboard members. This is a comprehensive database of all US-market (and soon to include Canadian-market) 500E and E500 models delivered for the 1992 through 1994 model years.
Data for this resource has been compiled continuously since mid-2003, and much of this information is seeing the light of day for the very first time ever. This new resource will allow you to utilize 500Eboard research and resources to track specific cars, their sale history, documented modifications, and other information that has surfaced over the years.
We are also providing analytics about the cars' production. This means that if you are curious as to how many "Signal Red" cars were produced for the US market with a black interior, specifically in Model Year 1993, you can now easily find this information. You can also find aggregated information -- for example, how many "Black Pearl" cars were imported into the US over the three-year span.
You can always find and enjoy this resource by clicking here (bookmark the site for easy reference!), or by going to the “500Eboard Registry and VIN Database” sub-forum below. You can also find a VIN Database button at the top of your screen, for easy access.
We hope you enjoy this resource. A LOT of blood, sweat and tears over nearly 23 years have gone into its creation.
Cheers,
500Eboard Management
