Just trying out a new phone’s audio. The HJS 200 cell cats I got 6 years ago really changed the characteristics of the exhaust and I don’t mean just the increased decibels. Warm start: Warm revs:
@Benzy Boy As the post you referenced listed the features of the exhaust, the actual sound characteristics is based on four factors:
1. The combination of a dual exhaust from the exhaust manifold, 3” piping and the X pipe. Which created a deep, throaty and higher-pitched sound. The X pipe also added a bit of a raspier overtone that I wanted to have.
2. Free flowing cats. They really help the engine breathe more and with less restriction, you hear more pitch of the sound quality.
3. The internal design of the custom mufflers. Their internal perforation design was not shared with me. The mufflers are free flowing.
4. The size of the exhaust tips and other factors like their length or width. They will also play into the exhaust note being slightly louder and more aggressive. The tips I got are 4.5 ” in diameter and are of very high quality.
