Found a pair of AMG Monoblock IIs. The size is 18x8.5/9.5. Will it fit my 500e?

What is the offset on the wheels (ETxx, stamped on the back side)? There are S-class wheels in that size, which are the wrong offset. Ideally you want R129 wheels.
For those widths, you want either 245/40 front with 275/35 rear, OR 255/40 front with 285/35 rear.
For max-performance summer tires, Michelin Pilot SuperSports have rave reviews, but they're not cheap. On a budget, the Conti DW work very well, I have 3 sets of these and have been quite happy with them.

Depends on the offset as to whether they will need spacers or not. But 245-40s on the front and 275-35s on the rear are the normal size for AMG Mono IIs.
Just ask him what the ET number that they are showing on the inside of the wheel is. That will make up your mind.
Generally, if these are correct for the car, you should be in the $500-750 range for used wheels that need some attention, or $1,000-$1,300 for a pristine set that have been refurbished. If you have to refirb them, have a professional service do the job. Usually runs $100-200 per wheel depending on what has to be done.
And only a pair? Not a full set of four? You want a set of four, preferably staggered for a 500E.

ET35 and ET40 will need spacers to look correct, but they should bolt up ok as-is. Sounds like these are S-class wheels, you will probably also need special lug bolts, M12 thread with R14 ball seat.
Those tires are WAY WAY too narrow, the guy was probably using them on a standard 124 without flared fenders, and trying to cure fender rubbing with skinny tires stretched on wide wheels (ricer/Bimmer look - yuck).

I will probably be selling a set of AMG R129 SL 2pc 18x8.5" & 18x10" wheels in the next few weeks but the price will be in the $2XXX range.

They are not the same. Yours link is CLK wheels (with the proper offset for 036). The previous link for 1200$ is for W220 S55amg non kompressor S430/S500 sport package cars (wrong offset for 036)
Yes I know but I see them all the time for less than a grand. Maybe not two piece but usable with spacers. I prefer the two piece but they are hard to find and the price goes up.

Need to know the exact offset. The number listed don't sound right to me... I'd ask them to post a photo of the size/ET stamped on the back side of both size wheels, and post the part number of the wheels too. Factory CL500 wheels are higher offset.
Price is reasonable though.
how do those CL500 mono block wheels fit on the 500e?

Those are from the W220 S class. The bolt pattern is the same 5x112, but you will want to run spacers, probably 20mm front and rear to get the offsets to 24 and 26

Correct.Errrr...aren't those 14mm lugs on the 215/220? Gonna need some funky bolts And spacers...
i have set of staggered set up for E500E monoblock 2 w/ tires 18x8et31 x 9et35 w/ 245/40 , 275/35 18 michelin pilot sport A/S PLUS on the part for sale section
A range of offsets will technically work. Lower numbers may cause rubbing at the fenders, higher numbers will look odd and may cause rubbing at the strut or inner fender.
I think ET25 is ideal for those sizes... would prefer something around ET25-ET30. For tires, 245/40 front with 275/35 rear, or 255/285 if you want wider rubber.
