190 seats a straight swap into e420?

AFAIK, they are not a direct swap... pretty sure they are narrower, and the bases will definitely not bolt in.
Other 124 seats are plug & play, with the exception that the V8 bases/frames are narrower, but you can swap the cushions around. So if you found some nice 300E/E320 seats, you could put those cushions (bottom+backrest) on the V8 base/frame. But not the 190 stuff.

Dang it; first set I have seen at a yard in a year that weren't completely trashed. Guess I shouldn't be greedy; got a lot of useable parts today (including my air pump)....

What color are the seats?
I'm going off memory from a very quick look here, but methinks they were slightly darker than the normal e420 fawn color (like here in Karl C's great leatherique thread http://www.500eboard.com/forums/showthread.php?3314-Leather-Repair-and-Restoration&highlight=color ). I am going back down early next week, and can grab/post a pic for you if you like.....
