190 seats a straight swap into e420?

I found a nice set of 190e seats at the yard today. They look VERY similar to the e420 seats, and the controls on the door panels appear to be the same. Anyone know if they are a straight plug n play swap?

AFAIK, they are not a direct swap... pretty sure they are narrower, and the bases will definitely not bolt in.

Other 124 seats are plug & play, with the exception that the V8 bases/frames are narrower, but you can swap the cushions around. So if you found some nice 300E/E320 seats, you could put those cushions (bottom+backrest) on the V8 base/frame. But not the 190 stuff.

Dang it; first set I have seen at a yard in a year that weren't completely trashed. Guess I shouldn't be greedy; got a lot of useable parts today (including my air pump)....

Thx Dave!!
