1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SE 500SE Brabus 6.0

Documented Build by Brabus in Germany / Original Bill of Sale and Brabus Invoice
Original Blue Kardex / TüV Records

Vehicle Description

This very early and rare W140 is available for sale.

This historic Brabus 6.0 come with the original sales order and bill of sale from Mercedes Benz show factory delivery in Stuttgart in 1992 with a total amount of DM 151,840. Subsequently upon delivery in Stuttgart, this car was shipped to Bottrop to be appointed with a full Brabus Package that is evidenced by a DM 71,740 sales order signed by non-less that owner Bodo Buschmann.

After the build this car went on to live its life in Hannover, Germany, before being imported into the US in 2021.

Brabus conversion consisted in:
- Paining of the Gray cladding in Black
- Chrome parts black out
- Brabus Monoblock III 19x8.5 wheels finished in body color
- Brabus Sports Suspension
- Brabus M119 engine increase to 6.0 liters
- Top Speed delete
- Brabus 300 km/h Cluster
- Brabus Exhaust

The provenance and paperwork make this car a very rare unicorn that still has all the rare Unobtanium parts present. This is a true Brabus built in Bottrop and ordered through Mr. Buschmann, showing that the first owner was not only a VIP at Mercedes-Benz, but also at Brabus.

Brabus 6.0 is rated at 381HP and propels the car 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, puting this 2 ton luxury sedan in Porsche territory.

The overall condition of the car is very original un driver quality. Brabus original odometer shows 138,102 Kms (86,313 Miles). Drives very well, gets to speed very quickly and is very nimble (even for an S-Class).

Interior is in very good showing the Zembrano wood equipment nicely all around. Electrical equipment works and the headliner is tight. The exterior of the car shows some blemishes due to the age and use.

This presents a good entry stepstone to the Brabus market in this ever value increasing Youngtimer market.

Detailed videos and photographs are available upon request to serious inquiring parties.

I would suspect a preference for cash now opposed to fighting the parts availability / internal combustion engine fight into the future. Not to mention that these things are easier to buy than to keep running up to spec.
