I am trying to figure out what to do with the car. The engine was not an original 3.6 so it does not have the markings on the block in the usual places. Seeing that people might not believe it is what it is, I brought the car to the dyno today to see what she's made of......

1993 300E sportline sedan- freshly built 3.6 engine and C36 722.3 trans
Cat convertor deleted
stock 3.2 ECU remapped by Speedtuning to C36 specs
stock 3.2 crossover tube

HP- 228 or 278
TQ- 248 or 302

Pretty cool to hear the engine sing and put up some good numbers. Enjoy the video!

Amazing car and project!
Question, how did Speedtuning remap tune stock ECU? did the remove and solder a chip?
thank you.

Sounds great, this would be great on a wagon for more power versus weight. Nevertheless, I love a sporty sedan.

What's next?

I am going to be grabbing Dave Hendy's 89 300TE with a manual 5 speed. It has been converted to a euro cloth interior and has the same sort of suspension upgrades my old 3.6 wagon had. He has a tow hitch and a donor rear bumper to cut up. It will be hauling around vintage golf clubs for my new business called Retro Golf Club.
