Is there any difference between a 1993 & 1994 panel?
I have a perfect 1993 panel off a low mileage 500E, which has been in dry storage for years, but it is still in the frame

As I’ve been told by my mechanic the mechanism and panel is changed with the facelifted 1994 W124.

It's not true. Everything is the same. Only the C124 have different sunroof.

Yup, what @Kridre said. All sedans share the same sunroof panel. Nothing was different on 94-95 facelift sunroofs.

Thank you all for educating me on that. Then I guess let me know what’s out there, if it’s a 199 pearl black that would be fantastic. Missed on one out of 94 e420 on eBay in silver was posted for $100

You are correct Drew, I see no point in separating the panel from the frame. Somebody will need the complete panel/roof frame one day. I am in no hurry to sell .......
