KEY FACTS
  • This W124-generation Mercedes-Benz E500 is a desirable and very capable modern classic ‘super saloon’, which is reported to be in largely original condition.
  • Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8, delivering around 326PS to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
  • This example is understood to have originally been a German-delivered model, which was first registered in June 1994, and is now located in Sweden.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
  • Co-engineered with Porsche and hand-built at the marque’s Zuffenhausen plant, the E500 features a wider track, lower suspension, flared wheel arches, 320mm brake discs with four-piston callipers, and a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine.
  • This example is finished in the timeless shade of Brilliant Silver Metallic over a black part leather and black, brown, and grey check cloth-trimmed interior, punctuated by wood veneer trim inlays.
  • It rides on an aftermarket set of 19-inch Lorinser five-spoke split-rim alloy wheels finished in silver with machine-cut faces, and fitted with mixed tyres.
  • Equipment includes headlamp washers, a green top-tinted windscreen, dual-zone climate control, electric windows, cruise control, a Mercedes-Benz-branded cassette stereo with a CD multichanger, and electrically adjustable heated front seats.

That’s more than enough.:) I didn’t catch on to the add. Sorry my Bad. :runexe:

I will note that it’s got the wrong antenna, Wrong advertised HP/TQ ratings should be 315HP/347TQ and an awful detail job on the engine bay. Looks like it was wiped down with a brown paper bag.

I liked the overall exterior/interior and the appearance of the 19” Lorinser wheels but 18”‘would be my limit and should not the mixed tires.

Also, On top it looks rust free but since it’s a Swedish car it would be nice to see some undercarriage pics.

The antenna mast is BROKEN. Someone bent it straight upward. It should be angled.

The electrical-taped wart on the roof is a nice touch. :LOL: :rolleyes:
