I am about to order a throttle linkage from a junkyard for my 94 s420.
Which linkages are synonymous ?Is the S500 and the E400s all share the same linkages?

Which linkage? There are a couple different ones. Should be the same between all M119.97x engines though, I think?

OK - you mean the link that connects directly to the ETA (throttle actuator), correct? And attaches to the other linkage assembly at the back of the intake manifold? Was your damaged?

Yes, that's the one.I have come to find , all along that was my problem with the sluggish delayed response.I have played with it many times. At this point I just want to change it.Facing the car, and I hold it's body on the far left and the rpm changes.Ready to order one from a junkayrd.Found one on the net which looks just like mine.it was listed for the SL,129,w140 etc.....I just want to make sure it's the same part.I could also buy this repair kit but at this point I just want to replace it.
