I found this E55 in Port St. Lucie, two and one half hours from home. It looks very nice but I noticed what appears to be "water" marks on the front door panels and a ruined storage box cover between the front seats. All of you with eagle sights what else do you see wrong with this 27K miles car? They accept a dealer PPI. KBB private seller price is $24.5K. I would definitely buy this car if everything is ok with it. They have 2 offers so far.

Cheers,

Orazio

Funny thing is I don't think that's water on the doors. I think it's the flash reflecting off of the window switch bezel onto the leather "curtain". The front passenger door gap looks strange to me, but those can be adjusted. Both my 500E and my S55 eventually needed the driver's door readjusted from use. It's no big deal. Depending upon the shop, they can probably even do it there. I'm sure the car looks better in person than these pictures. Good luck. When are you headed over?

Stephen, the owner of the cars said "That of course I'll take it to Mercedes-Benz for inspection not a problem at all. But please make an appointment for Monday at the Mercedes-Benz dealership on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach first avail apt if possible as I will be leaving for Orlando for two days. If not possible schedule and appointment for Wednesday afternoon".

So far so good, the problem is that he won't accept anything less than $28.5K. NADA clean retail price is &25.4.

To pay or not to pay, that's the question.
