400E & E420 Cars with Rear Optional SLS

However, I will say that the rear suspension damping quality of the E500E (and 400E420 models so equipped) leave a LOT to be desired if the SLS accumulators are not functioning well.
These HOW-TOs just keep getting better. I wasn't aware the SLS option was available for the 400E/E420.

SLS was optional on the 034, but the option was not listed on North American sales brochures. I didn't think any existed in USA until I came across two different 034's with SLS. IIRC both were in poor condition. Might have been a Euro-delivery option or something, but very very rare in USA.

Yup! The Muncie car was one of the 2 that I know of. It has been parked since at least 2014. Sad photos at link below.

Car has NO TITLE, which is partly why it didn't sell in 2019. In that shape it is strictly a parts car, unless you are @JC220, in which case all that will buff out in a weekend. :ROFLMAO:
