Early 93 400E Rear Wheel bearing

I recommend buying FAG wheel bearing. FAG P/N 713 6675 30 or MB P/N 201-980-00-16 for comparison. This is not a job that you want to do often, buy good quality parts and forget it for next 30 years.

Edit: Forgot to add, all W124 besides the wagon use the same rear wheel bearings. The only thing in this kit that will not work with 400E or 500E is the axle shaft hardware that bolts to the diff flanges.

Specific wheel bearing kit for V8 cars with correct screws is NLA if I remember correctly..

I have one FAG 713 6677 200 which should be the proper bearing for the 036. Does the 034 use something different?

I am local.

@Kridre is correct. All 124's use the same rear bearing except wagons. The wagons use a larger bearing.

The bearing kits are different part numbers because the kits include bolts/hardware that may vary between some chassis, however the bearing is the same in all the kits.

Timken 513130 is another option, photos here.
