400E / E420 power and compression ratings

Hi all,
I've seen some info online that the 92 400E was rated at 268hp with 10:1 compression, and that later models were rated at 275hp with 11:1 compression.
Does anyone know for sure if these differences actually existed, or if some erroneous info posted somewhere?

The compression ratio difference is accurate. USA 1993 model year and newer have the higher 11:1 ratio.

The horsepower ratings are a mystery, there is conflicting data between factory sources (TDM, FSM, etc) between 124 and 140 chassis. I think it's possible the 1992 could have been as high as 282hp but can't confirm this, and also never owned a 1992 400E that was worthy to take to the dyno for testing.

Further confusing things, a 1993-up 4.2L engine makes 275hp in stock form, but with a 92 LH module which has WOT enrichment, this increases a full 15hp (!) to 290hp on the dyno. There were a plethora of other changes as of 1993 as documented here.

:v8:

Thanks
I have a 94 E420, to which I have added the 92 LH module. There is a 92 400E for sale relatively close by, that I was considering too (like I need another car LOL). I was just evaluating what I might gain or lose.
