Hi everyone,

New owner from Spain 🇪🇸 and after chasing this car for many, many years, I finally ended up buying one.

I’ve been reading this forum for a long time, learning a lot and enjoying all the knowledge and passion here, but until now I never really posted. I guess owning the car was the final push to finally join in.

The 500E has always been a dream car for me — the story, the sleeper look… it still feels special every time I see it. Finding the right one took a lot of patience, but it was 100% worth it.

Looking forward to learning more, sharing experiences and being part of the community. Glad to finally be here!

Cheers,

PS BTW I am currently looking for a set of Aero 3s , @bb1 do you still offer reproduction ones? Thank U

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I’m sharing two pictures of the car, nickname "DOC" :hammerhead:, the second one was taken just before starting with the engine work. My goal is to bring it back to a condition even better than when it left Zuffenhausen, 1992 seems too far away...

Oh wow. Is that Nautical Blue? LOVE the color!

:gor-gor:
Oh yes that’s a Nautic Blue car, same as mine. I’m of course biased but I think it’s one of the absolute best colours for the 124 series.

What are interior colour is it?
