500E/E500 "High Performance Chip" Installation Instructions

About 10 years ago, I purchased/obtained three different aftermarket "high performance" chips for my E500 in an attempt to evaluate their performance.

None of them amounted to squat in terms of any sort of improved performance.

Here are the instructions that came with one of those chips. I happened to come across the instructions when I was cleaning out my garage shop over the past couple of weeks.

Perhaps one of the Chip Performance Tuning Captain Ahabs aficionados on the forum can utilise these instructions in search of their performance Holy Grail.

Cheers,
Gerry

P.S. :nos: ????

Totally wrong

Nitrous is a huge power maker regardless of comprssion.

I've used it on engines with 13:1 compression ratio

The only time I hear the word "spray" it's in conjunction with seeing one of my cats backing up to something and letting 'er rip......

Speaking of critters, came home from dinner out with my wife at 10 PM last night, and found this little fella in my garage. Charlie happened to be in the garage guarding the G-wagen (wife and I took the 560SEC out to dinner), and had him cornered and was playin' with him something fierce.....

.....

You need to get out more, down here in Florida, as well as most street
racing communities Nitrous is called SPRAY on the steet.

If someone wants to ask you if you're running nitrous on your car
they'll say "are you spraying that"?

The Mustang LX 5.0 street cars back in the 90's actually had rear window decals that said

"Spray or be Sprayed"
