93 400E power steering fluid level

Could someone please clear this up. I've searched the internet and my owners manual and can't find an answer. How to check power steering fluid level on a 400E? There's a rod in the center of the steering fluid reservoir with a "min" and "max" marking and a 20C (Celsius) stamp. Distance between min and max is very minute, probably a few ounces at best

What should be at 20C? Ambient temp, fluid temp? Doesn't seem logical to me. What is the proper, correct way to check the fluid level?

Thanks

Pull the lid off the PS fluid container. There will be a white plastic circular plate that sits on the central shaft. The fluid level should be just at or slightly below the upper tab that says "FULL"

@gerryvz, thank you! So, indeed, 20C is fluid's temperature for proper level measurement. Not very convenient when the ambient is 5C or 30C
