Be care with insulations on firewalls with pre 92' R129's

I was at a pick and pull recently and saw exposed fire wall insulation on a 1990 500sl. It was not bright white like the insulation that I have seen on .034 cars.

The insulation was brownish and appeared to be asbestos.
I would be really careful if you are doing a restoration or dealing with exposed insulation.
