Becker 1492 Audio Static with ON Headlights

1994 E500 - BAD static on radio and AUX (slightly better) when turning on headlights with the engine on or off. Just getting ready to put the final touches on my resto and refinished wood trim ensemble. Have not yet pulled the deck to check the ground clip on the back or look for a rogue wire. Any right turn of the light switch creates serious buzz. Parking lights no buzz. Shield it with a filter or magnet? If so what and where?

FYI Recent work; Recently rebuilt the original Becker deck 1492 (Becker did the work). Because of this been pulling wires in and out of the cradle. Replaced both amps with used units. Removed the entire antenna unit to clean and lubricate, replace mast. Removed aftermarket alarm system wiring 3 months ago that was sourcing its power somewhere in the main feed going to the ignition or light switch, I don't recall but I clipped it (purple wire?), capped it and retaped it up with cloth tape. It was a bit of a mess as I think there was also a wire going to the ignition switch which I capped and taped. I cleaned it up. Did I not shield properly?

I hope there is an easy way to isolate the static close to the deck. Any ideas?

FYI-Pulled deck and when I moved the NEW AUX line (put in by Becker last year) around a few inches it went away. I think perhaps that AUX line was near a power line. I run that cord under ashtray, under center wood and into box so good news.
