Hi All,
I have used Bilt Hamber car wash products for years now as I have found them to be very high quality. I guess it is a UK brand, not sure if much of their stuff is in USA(?)
Anyway about a year ago they came out with a new sugar based snow foam and ceramic wash additive / coating. It is to be used as a system, so once the car paint is protected with the Touch On ceramic treatment the special snow foam can be used for contactless washes thereafter with the Touch On treatment to be applied monthly to top up.
This is just a review of my thoughts on the product which I now use on my cars.
I buy the Touch Less Snow Foam in 5L jars which works well for me. 1.5 inches if it in the snow foam bottle is all you need. It is quite a thin snow foam but quite effective. I have done contactless washes with it and it does work very well and maintains the hydrophobic properties.
Today I treated my S600 to the Touch On product. After washing the car you can see below it hasn't been polished in months and has zero water repelling properties.

For the Touch On treatment they come in small single use sachets so I add one into a clean snow foam bottle. And top up with a little warm water. Then I apply to the whole car body and also inside the wheel arches and wheel barrels. It goes on like a very thin white snow foam then quickly starts to bead up and run:

Don't let it dry!! I rinse off fairly quickly at this point and the car has very strong hydrophobic properties! I then use a large microfiber towel to dry the paint. This is after I have used the Touch On treatment. Generally when contact washing between Touch On top ups I just rinse the car with no ill effects. Just don't let the product dry on a warm day as it will streak the paint. It is winter now so easy to avoid at present.
Dried off:

The hydrophobic properties are very strong. For example on my daily driver W221 this is a month after the Touch On treatment and it was also contactless washed with the Bilt Hamber Touchless Snow foam prior to photo in rain:

Does this replace a proper ceramic coating? Probably not. But for me the convenience of application is a huge plus. And the rain gutters, slam panel areas etc will also get some protection.
The contactless washing snow foam is also very good when used with the Touch On treatment. I also think the car paint stays cleaner for longer between washes as rain washed off most loose dirt between washes.
It says on the Touch On sachets that you can alternatively add into the shampoo bucket. I have done this before but I think it is much more effective if applied using the snow foam gun method.
