CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS ?

I'm attaching a pic of one of two identical items I found in the bottom of the driver's door pocket in my E500.

Each is about 2 1/4 " long, and one side is vinyl, the other felt. The colour is identical to that of the interior of the car, and the texture of the vinyl matches that of other vinyl in the car.

Anyone know what it is?
