DIY Front Bumper Mounting Washers

While I had my front bumper off for headlight conversion, I decided to duplicate a simple task previously done to my rear bumper by adding rubber washers to the five mounting studs for additional vibration damping & paint protection of the front chassis contact-point areas (especially the center contact-point).

The washers were made from scrap rubber inner tube material. An American Quarter Dollar (coin) provided the sizing template. A properly-sized hole punch created a snug-fitting inside diameter.

The modified disconnector for the ambient temperature display cable can also be seen in the bumper pic. This allows me a much faster front bumper removal & reinstallation.
