durability of high sheen finish?

Since I just recieved a set of quite worn high sheen wheels, I have a question for you guys:
How would the durability (eg the famous peeling clear coat) be on a freshly diamondcut and powdercoated set?
The wheels would be used with summer tires and the car would be parked outside. There is no "real need" to use this wheels, but I am sure they will look great with the 199 paint!
I am curious to hear your experiences and opinions!

My experience was really bad, these diamond cut wheels with clear coat always end up with the same problem.

I had Brabus wheels that never saw snow nor salt but still flaked really bad (spreads under the clear coat like rust). My 2014 E63 AMG wheels has it starting in two wheels now : /. Also saw it in numerous AMG wheels.
