I installed the aftermarket big boy sold by 1 of the beloved here...and it has done more squeaking/squawking (yes, even w poly lubricant) than anything else. I don't have the stock one anymore. Like to get another if anyone has.

Front or rear bar?

What bushings are currently installed - the OE/Genuine bushings with the Teflon liner (which should be silent), or aftermarket polyurethane (which can squeak like a crazed mouse)?

this is the Jono(?) blueridge bar...so urethane...and I can't get it to shut the F up...driving me batshit. yes, been lubricated w poly specific juice

Hrmmm. Does this setup use the stock bracket, or custom brackets? If it's the stock bracket... should be able to use an OE bushing from a W210 AMG with the Teflon liner that will make it quiet. If this is a custom bracket, I don't know if an OE bushing will fit.

:scratchchin:

I'm looking at these parts and it looks like the 210 bushing is significantly larger in diameter and will not fit into a 036 bracket. The 210 bracket has different hole spacing as well so it can't be used. The 210 bushing measures 38mms across.

Could the outside/inside of the poly bushing be moving where it's not supposed to?

You might also try loosening the brackets and checking for any mis alignment that elongating the bracket holes could cure.

Can't you add a piece of teflon mat/cloth inbetween the bushing and swaybar? Lube the teflon mat and squeeze the bushing over it. Never tried it myself yet, just a thought.

If you haven't already, you might ask Jono for advice. He did the rear sway bar on my car. Quiet as a church mouse for ages...until a local shop decided the suspension needed to be "refreshed". After that it sounded like the mouse was being tortured. It just so happened that I was sending my car back to Jono for something and he addressed it. Totally silent since. I'm afraid I can't remember Jono's explanation, but it might be that it's not a hard fix.
