Don't see many of these around anymore....
Didn't see many of these around even when they were new!

Saw this lovely car in this lovely shade @ a local shop today....... the shop rebuilt the head.

No chrome on the door handles, no chrome on the side moldings .... and do those front fenders look ever so slightly widened?

@Jlaa, Very nice.:) It must have been setting awhile. The tags are expired. Front end looks pretty 500Eish. I really like those early Monoblocks and the Ducktail. Hell, I like the color and appearance of the whole car!

I saw one similar to that many years (90s) ago in black when I still had my 300E. Loved it then.:hearts:

Thanks for posting.:)

Neeeed VIN! The license plate lookups aren't finding that plate (and, the tags expired in 2021). Also, CARB has no emissions test records for that plate either. Hmmm.

It may be a 90-93 USA spec car, but I can't tell for sure from the pics. Those gray door handles are 1986-89 style. And the center console wood has no fader wheel, which is odd. Doors have speakers but those could have been added to an early car, ditto for the wood dash. Wonder if that backwards recirc switch is for an intercooler spray or something? Side mouldings have the stainless trims on top but they were painted body color. Fenders appear stock but "stretched" slightly via healthy rolling.

M103 or M104?

Absolutely beautiful! Not too much, not too little, just beautiful! I used to drool over those Mosselman twin turbo conversions in the very early 90's since I've seen the R129 and C124 "Silver Arrow" cars in European Car magazine spread. Dream!
