I have just replaced the ETA due ASR light on and diagnostic on pin 8.

Any way I installed used one that worked in my donor car …

Now I connected it to my car and I dont hear nothing when I turn the ignition on…

Does it should be like that?

I still have to install the brake vacumm hose ..

Any tips? I dont want to start all iver it is pain in the ass work….

Sounds like a bad ETA. What is the date code on the used one? Sometimes bad wiring will work on the old car but once it's disturbed, the wiring fails and it won't work again.

I installed it, turn on and the ASR light off

After a short drive I parked the car

In the next time I turn it on the ASR light came bak to life !

Whats going on? Is there any way to inspect the ETA? I have three if them…

What is the date code on the ETA you installed?

You can do a rough test on an ETA by plugging it to the electrical connector, without installing it, and making sure the lever is in the idle position. With the key on, it should make all the normal noises. Google for videos. If it's dead silent, the ETA may be dead. If it passes the noise test, next you have to press on the accelerator pedal just enough to open the pedal switch, then you can move the ETA lever and watch if the butterfly opens normally.
