Hi,

Does someone have a MB-number of a set of colour matching floormats for the 275 Mushroom/Champignon interior? Or can you recommend any non-original manufacturer?

Hello.

Unfortunately. W124 Floor mats are not available any more :( .You will need to find an aftermarket set.

My car has the original MB ribbed floor mat in Champignon. I would recommend you try to find the rubber floor mats.
they are much easier to keep clean and look very nice. bright color floor mats are easily stained !

According to this PDF document, http://www.w124performance.com/docs/mb/ ... r_mats.pdf
the official Mercedes accessory floor mats in Cream-Beige (275 through model year 1993) would be Q-668-0300. Current list price in the USA is $94 USD. Check availability with your local dealer.

The 1994-95 model years with code 275 are Parchment, which is a slightly different color.

Rubber floor mats are Q-668-0345, I just bought a set last month, these are definitely still available.

All,

Thanks for the information,
Are the rubber mats only available in black (Q-668-0345 i suppose) or can you get rubber mats in my colour (275)?

Rubber mats are black only. They are really nice quality, actually quite heavy (16 pounds for all 4, according to my notes). I would still inquire about the color carpet mats though, there may still be some available. The light color carpets are a bit harder to keep clean, as mentioned above, but they sure look nice!

They look nice. I was unsure about black mats in a cream colored interior, but after I saw them in Rik's (2phast) 500E, I ordered a set.

Go to his page
http://www.2phast.com/500e/default.htm

click 500E, click interior - you can see some pics.

BTW, They weigh 14.5 lbs for all four. I will install mine after I vacuum my carpets again. Also Ive had really good luck in the past steam cleaning the carpets of my other benz.

It's probably a little too late but here is some MB pn# for complete sets in most common E500E interior color .

I'm sure most of these are still available in europe , last year i've ordered a set of " black velours " B66209071 through my local dealer ,price was 91 euros .

Rubber:
-----------
B66688213 , Anthracite

B66688212 , light grey

Velours:
----------
B66209071 , black .
B66209072 , blue .
B66209073 ,brazil brown.
B66209075 , beige .
B66209078 , grey .

Ribbed :

The ribbed mats look like sisal which is a very durable natural fiber. For looks alone, I prefer the traditional yarn (velour) mat but I bet the other is more durable.

The velour are more expensive. their deeper and looks more luxury. But I don't think they last as long as the ribbed.

I have the original ribbed mats on my car. 18 years they all look near new except the driver side near the brake pedal (small tear)

But I'd go with the rubber mats. they are V.easy to keep clean. and look good

They are black rubber that looks like honeycomb. I'll take some pictures later today, but my floor mats are already dirty!

They are quite hard to get hold of in the UK, the dealers dont even know how long it will take to get them in or if they will even come at all!

So i got some custom made, heres a pic:

None of these part numbers are valid in the USA. The USA part numbers are Q- numbers, not B6- numbers. You can still order the Q- numbers in the USA. Click here to download a PDF file with the part numbers you can order in the USA (not sure about Europe).

gsxr, I downloaded the PDF file showing part numbers for all MB floor mats in different colors. Thanks.

Where do you find that 94 interior 275 came with parchment mats?

One more... some people advertise e500e and say that it comes with "original wool floor mats". What are these mats made out of? Wool, really?

All W124's sold in 1994/95 have different colors for 274/275... 274 changed from Palomino to Saddle, and 275 changed from Cream-Beige to Parchment. This was because MB was standardizing colors on other models (140, 129, etc). No idea on the wool question though, sorry!

I just ordered, and got, the parchment and the black OE mats from my USA dealer...who said they are NLA?

The parchment is a close match to the cream-biege in my car...the original cream-biege mats I still have but are beat down on the drivers side only. Its not made out of wool btw...just plain old plastic carpet fibres.

I too have the 275 interior color and purchased the OEM black rubber mats to protect the original velours mats. The rubber ones are really great, wear like iron and really keep the water and mud very well contained.
I may have to see if I can order another set, as well as possibly a new set of the original velours or even the ribbed mats, those are neat looking too!

Beats me - but I've heard this consistently. My guess is, some parts guys can't locate the Q- or B6- accessory numbers to order, so they say "sorry, those are NLA" rather than do any research. Although most are still available, the price has gone up quite a bit in the past few years...

Bah....here is what I literally just got ; 1 set of each color. :deniro:

Q-6-68-0177 Black velour
Q-6-68-0179 Parchment

I didn't bother asking if the cream-biege was available, prolly isn't. I think I asked years ago too and found much of the cream-biege stuff is NLA ... like the OE replacement seat leathers. I should of paid for them (drivers seat) when they were available. Anyway...
