This Mercedes is a beautiful car that is in great condition for its age. According to our research only approximately 1600 of these vehicles were imported to the U.S. between 1991 and 1994. So to find one as nice as the car we offer for sale is tough. The E500 was one of the top luxury sedans of the day with numerous luxury features, a spacious quiet interior, powerful engine, and the sleek, attractive exterior made this car a perfect Autobahn cruiser. The beautiful interior of this strictly 4 passenger Mercedes has many luxury items such as; leather heated seats, sunroof that also tilts, burlwood trim, leather door panels, and many storage compartments.

The engine is a 5.0L V8; rated at 240 horsepower and 480 lb/ft of torque when it left the factory in Germany. The V8 is said to carry this sedan from 0 to 60 in just over 6 seconds; very impressive performance for this time period . The 500E models were actually developed by Mercedes Benz and Porsche, so one can be sure that performance was not an afterthought. These cars were often known as a wolf in sheep's clothing. The cars were actually assembled mainly by Porsche and it is said that each car took approximately 18 days to complete. The car also has ABS braking system, Acceleration Slip Control (ASR), Central Locking System, Child Safety locks in the rear, locking storage compartments, Power rear sunshade, Cruise Control.

This is a beautiful older Mercedes with an interesting history and not many on the road like it.

AutoCheck shows the car racked up 145kmi in NJ through 2004, then has only traveled 2kmi since then. It appears to have been sitting / in storage for over 10 years. Note that it's wearing Blizzak snow tires... I've got a bad feeling the underside could be quite brown.

Note this car has the rare increased torque / decreased power option, lol... 240hp (3.4L power) and 480 lb-ft (6.4L torque).

1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E sedan, Hello everyone, no need for introduction, whomever is looking at this add knows wolf in sheeps coat, legendary w124 with AMG platform, the car that will always satisfy new owner, when I drove it for the first time I have experienced something that I can describe in words, this car will always be my #1, it's the best thing I ever drove in my life. She has 0 rust, ice cold AC, everything works as new. Car has some upgrades since new, new tires (~1100$ only ~2000 miles only in summer ), rims (AMG BLOCKS 19'), wooden gear knob (original MB), new radio, ceiling liner, front and back turns. I will add 16' original rims and 16' AMG with winter tires ( 95% of meat left), tinted windows. I will leave amber lights for front and back, leather gear knob as well. Please only serious buyers, this car will go in value with each year, I made this car the way I see it more aggressive and more updated to our times, and I left everything so it can be brought back to original looks without putting too much work in it, so you have car with two "coats" as it was designed that way , now you see "wolf", but once you take all vinyl wrapping she is back to "sheep".

a-Ha! The shape-shifting of this car has bugged me since the beginning of this thread...but I've finally figured it out. A similar process was conducted in the movie Taxi (1998) for very purposeful reasons. Hmmmm, perhaps an inspiration to this Chicagoland car's previous life?

Car has been taken of since day one when I got, all done things: rims, tires, tinted windows, headliner, new radio, always garage kept, I have too many cars and I started to clean up my garage, my cars are all well maintained, anyone interested can welcome with questions or test drive. Alex
