We are still waiting for payments on 15 reservoirs across a 8 500EBoard members who requested to be a part of this Group Buy. I have created a poll for this thread to ask what path we should take. If there is another option I should have in the poll, please let me know.

I would cut the non-payers out, reduce the order, and place it. If it means that more money has to be collected to make up for the discount, so be it.

If its not too late, I would be interested. To confirm, I just need 1 tank and 1 decal for my 500e. By chance is this the same tank for W140's? I have a 1997 S500. Thanks, Eric

By the way, this reservoir is also 100% appropriate for and used with all US-spec Gen 2 W126/C126 (560SEL/560SEC) models.
So if you are a 126 owner with rear SLS, this is also an opportunity for you to get a spare tank.

Robert, please let me know how much I need to send you for two more additional units + labels, local pickup? I want to do my part to make sure that we are over the threshhold so that EVERYONE who ordered a tank gets the discount.

I happened to get the Cossie down from it's top bunk yesterday. The tank isn't too tragic. Battery read 0.8v. I'm a bad owner.

I sent Scott a one time payment of $100.00 Problem was that Scott shut down about six months later. I think he asked to late after he realized his expenses.

I’ll never ask for money to fund this site. Even if it was $500 a month. I’d never see the money needed from enough people on a Monthly basis to offset that cost, anyway.

Yup. One has paid, one paid via PayPal with fees (refunded), one has asked for for an invoice and not paid, and one has said they would pay shortly (a couple of days ago). The rest are in communicado.

Some folks may have had their lives disrupted due to current events. I just texted Johnathan as I have not heard from him in a few days and we were engaged in a discussion. This is unusual. I hate that you are having to deal with frustration in spite of your generosity in putting this together. These are trying times. I'm willing to be patient.

FYI - if paying via invoice, I think it automatically charges fees with no way around it. If so, you may want to ask for a fixed +5% for anyone who needs an invoice, to cover the fees.

I am now calling this Group Buy CLOSED. There are 4 units spread across 3 500EBoard members for which I have not received payment. Both @vatc5637 and @linjam have offered to pick up additional units so I feel the risk is minimal and I'll be able to sell leftover units. I have notified Germany and already sent PayPal payment. I expect the order to be assembled shortly and begin its journey to Virginia.
I've also been gathering USPS Priority Mail boxes in anticipation of shipping as soon as I receive the shipment.
If you need more labels, please let me know as changes to the quantities can be made all the way up to your fulfillment.

I can now confirm that this Group Buy has moved from speculative to reality which is AWESOME! In less than 48 hours, we have reached our first discount level for 25 units. In fact, this means that since this campaign has launched we have averaged a reservoir request every other hour!
You'll note that I have updated the Cost column to reflect the current purchase price of the reservoir based on the 25 unit order.
Onwards to 50!

@Ntrepid: since it appears the group buy will be waiting until all patrons complete their payment, is it possible for you to mail me in advance 2 labels so I can replace the dark brown OEM label currently on my car? I have used Comet Cleanser (yes just a household sink cleaner) to clean up my windshield water washer tank. When I was done it looked brand new.
It has an a mild abrasive and contains bleach. It cleaned up that white plastic really nice and removed all stains and oils.
NOTE: It will not clean up the yellow overflow tanks. Nothing will fix that except a new tank.

So I closed the Group Buy nearly a week ago. The company in Germany has the funds and I'm fully expecting to get a notification this week that the shipment is on its way. I think it would be a week for it to get to my house in VA and I would be happy to make your shipment be the first out the door if it would help from a timing perspective.
If not, I'm happy to send you a couple of SLS labels separately.

The shipment has begun its journey! I have a UPS tracking number and the shipment is in Iserlohn. I'll be picking up more USPS supplies to go with what I already have so that I can commence shipment without delay to all of you that ordered (as you've waited long enough already).
