HELP! diff fluid reservoir missing?? G320

I have a 1994 G320 SWB with a m104 engine. I has a manual swap from the previous owner done horribly by a mechanic who had no right to be working on an old G class. That being said, after a long restoration I have come to the point of repairing the diff lock system. I noticed I have no fluid reservoir in the engine bay (maybe removed by said mechanic) the found a degraded line heading to the top of rear intensifiers. Should I have an additional reservoir or does the system run off the brake fluid reservoir? Picture of engine bay attached.

Thanks Gerry. I’m pretty positive it’s been removed now I have noticed the empty mounting studs on the top right. Next question why would somebody just rip it out ??

Here's my area in the engine compartment. Apologies as my truck's engine has been torn apart for the past 18 months (I have a lot of work to do to finish the project .... but it's boating season now so I'm not that car-focused.)

Hopefully this helps. As far as I know, my truck is unmolested in that area. It's a Europa import.

Someone was likely tired of non working diff locks.

The lock cylinders get stuck if not used every now and then. Its a known "issue"
