Help Finding Wiring Harness Dates

Hi all. Sorry for what seems to be an obvious question but I've been through all the threads 4x....I'm confused and spinning my wheels at this point.

I can only find one date code label, which I believe is the upper harness. (pictured)

Can someone please confirm this is the upper, and where to find the lower from here?

Any and all assistance is much appreciated. Thanks

Adam

That is the upper harness and is a good date. To my knowledge, there is no lower harness label - just have to look at the insulation.

If there is a tag present on the lower harness, it may be near the 3-pin connector on the back of the CAN box, below the large connector for the upper harness. See photo below.

Thank you for the help gentlemen. It seems as though I do not have a label on that wire and I can follow it until comes together with the other two wires.

My gut says it is original based on this photo. The fact that the harness has the paint pen on it would strongly indicate it's original. Correct?

Regardless, any suggestion on the best place to check the insulation?

Yup, very likely original.

Best place is to look at the small wires behind the alternator, that connect to the alternator, oil pressure sender, and oil level switch.
