I would like to know how you adjust
the rear doors, as in vertical movement?
im out on one door by a few mm

would most dealers have these tools?

Yes.

Or available online $40-$50 range, with some searching.

Sometimes the tools show up for sale on the forums or ebay after doing their required duty.

Sometimes, if you ask nicely, & are an upstanding, respectable forum member with a somewhat trusty demeanor, another upstanding, respectable member will lend the tools.

I need to tackle this job on a wagon, front and possibly the rear door on driver's side. Does anyone have tools they would lend out? Thanks.

W124 rear doors don't go out of adjustment in my experience. Therefore I would suspect accident damage as a possibility and / or a non original door is fitted.

I think it is actually the driver's door that is out of alignment. I imagine the procedure is similar. The hinge bender tool doesn't look that complex. I could not find any thread on alignment of front doors, so I posted in this one as the most topical existing thread.
