How to remove electric windows switches connectors?

Could someone explain how to remove electrical connectors to power window switches? I can't lift much the black plastic bracket into which they slot, because the wiring length precludes it, and so can't see how they are secured in there. Do I just push them down with force? They don't seem to budge any and I obviously don't want to brake anything. Thanks

There are tabs which lock the rectangular blocks in place, inside the frame. But I forget if they push up or down when released. Don't force anything... and yes, the wire length is VERY short, not much to work with.

Just in case someone might find it useful in the future. Tabs are down below where the arrows point. On every switch. I sank a tiny flat-blade screwdriver into the crevice and then pushed the tab towards the switch and then pushed the switch down. Repeat on the other side. With a head mounted flash light, my contact lenses almost popped out of my eyes staring into the tiny crevice to see the tab.
