how to turn foglights on?

pretty standard on most mercs, switch headlamp on, then pull. 1st notch front fogs, 2nd notch front and rear fogs - this being euro standards. You can also have sidelights on and front fogs but not rear.

By the way- 1 and 2 are parking lights :duck:

is the switch for a 500e the same as any 124? and how does one replace the bulb in the middle mine does not light up?

1. Yes, all 124 light switches are simular- 124 had serial foglights.
2. Pliers and towel- than puuuullllll :lolol:
Lamp itself is also not easy to replace, you might need "a third hand" to help.
Remember- it lights up ONLY if you switch back fog light!
