Great video. I am rebuilding a w124 e500 from 1994. When i bought the car the engine and gearbox where out of the car and i have rebuild the engine. Now the engine and gearbox are in the car i wanted to put a new filter/oil on the gearbox and then i found 4 small pieces from a spring in the oil sump. So my question is what spring could this be. Now that i saw you video there is a spring behind the last round cover at the rear of the gearbox. Could it be possible that this spring can end up in the oil sump? Because it looks verrry familiar to me.
