Is the armrest with storage interchangable with the regular armrest?

Need more storage, and looking to find a black armrest w/storage to replace my regular armrest. Are they interchangeable? How easy in the install?

Any info much appreciated gents.

Finally got my 500E out of hibernation...summer weather took awhile coming.

Yes, you can physically retrofit a non-compartmental (padded) armrest onto an compartmental armrest seat, and vice versa.

It is quite easy and straight forward to change them out, a couple of bolts only...just be careful removing the colored plastic trim collar at the seat connection , they break easily (the few times I've done it)
