Late LCAs: OE vs TRW

I think that at least for the foreseeable future, ordering Sportline LCAs will be the only way to go. Kudos to those who hoarded LCAs after the price was dramatically reduced !!

This is one part where I think it will likely be produced again -- there are just too many 124s still on the road to have this part go NLA.

Yeah. 129s too, which as you pointed out before also use the part!

I'm seeing the same price ($250 MSRP) left & right, for standard late LCA's:
1990-2002 Mercedes-Benz Control Arm 124-330-34-07 | MB OEM Parts
1990-2002 Mercedes-Benz Control Arm 124-330-35-07 | MB OEM Parts

These price reductions took effect Feb-1, 2018. See attached PDF file. LCA's above are on page 4.

Through what mechanism, pray tell, are you getting these PDFs of price drops?

I am seeing via the normal US MB parts sites that the right-side "late" LCAs for the W124 are showing NLA. This is part number 124 330 35 07. The left ones still seem to be available.

Mercedes Benz of Daytona Beach still has a couple of 124 330 35 07 in their inventory that they are selling through. $214 shipped and no tax:

I have a fresh set of control arms on my car (new in 2017) and now I have another brand new set for spares.

For whatever reason, the casting on the balljoint part is ever so slightly different.
My left spare was made in Slovenia in May 2018
My right spare was made in Slovenia in August 2018

However, you can see that the cast in letters for "TRWE" is much more crisp and distinct on my right one than on my left one. 🤷🏻‍♂️
