lock door alarm sounds

When I lock the door, the alarms sounds. I have to turn the key back and forth for the alarm to shut off. Anyone know if its the handle that needs to be replaced or the lock?

Nope, neither. It's likely the switch inside the door that connects to the alarm. I believe it's documented elsewhere in a thread or two on the forum. I definitely have a HOW-TO on how to remove the driver's door handle. The switch is not that expensive to replace, but you shouldn't need to replace either the handle or the lock.

Would look close at the wires in the rubber boot going from the door in to the body, I have sometimes had very funny things happening when the wire insulation is broken there and the wires short over.
Just a thought.
Ole
