The harness is available brand new from Mercedes... you will save yourself a lot of hassle if you just buy a new one.

u r right
but i live in Jordan and the dealer here says it needs 40 days to deliver it for me after i place the order.
and to be honest i feel that i can make it better using wires from a w140 wiring harness and good isolation material and good soldering.
i really appreciate ur help and want to thank the admins for this good forum, im learning lot of things from this forum.

A couple of choices:

1.) Heat protective tape/wrap, which can be obtained from an auto parts supplier.

2.) Heat protective tubing, often referred to as wire "loom" that is rated for high temperature.

Here is an example in an Amazon search:

I'm not sure what your sources are like as far as auto parts suppliers, but you can find both online, too. I know that Auto Excellence is a big parts supplier there, but I'm not sure if this is something they would carry.

Wrap in Tesa high temp and put in a reflective sleeve but that's not really needed..pretty easy rebuild overall

thank you Dan i will look for them here in Jordan.
yes, ur right about Auto Excellence, they are the official dealer for Bosch and many other German brands, but they consider the E500E a classic car and not selling their parts anymore, only service parts like brake pads and filters.
