Can you post more photos of the interior parts you have? I have a parchment interior and may need a few things.

For shipping concerns, make a deal with citizenshipper LLC. They are the right people to work with ease. Anyway, do you have any chassis comprising parts. I need some of them.

FYI, that LH module part number (014-545-65-32) is originally from an 1993-1995 R129 (500SL/SL500), although it will work in the 500E. It does not have WOT enrichment.

The other modules are correct for the 500E, note that the E-GAS module shown is the "late" style for chassis as of B840529 (although, I'm not sure what the difference is compared to the early E-GAS module... they may be interchangeable).

:mushroom:

Thanks for your input. All the modules came out a 1993 500E. Probably the LH module was swapped at one point.

The burl wood rocker-switch panel appears to be in good shape. Too bad it won't work on my '94....I need one.

- used 500E engine harness, all connectors are in place: $100 shipped (part numbers: 124 540 27 30 and 124 543 95 26)

- one engine mount great shape, no cracks (Boge 124 240 26 17): $50

It wasn't my car... i bought it for parts to finish my 500E project at the time.
Car was beyond repair (judging the value of the car), impact was so hard that it created creases also on the roof and left side quarter. Gas tank damaged, metal split apart in the trunk, plus other mechanical bits in the rear that were shattered. Beside that, engine ran very smooth with no issues.

It's sad but at least the relevant parts are getting sold/recycled into cars that need them. I agree it looks like a VERY hard hit, so the car should be totaled.

Can you provide me with the VIN number of this car so that I can mark it in the database as dismantled/totaled? I like to keep track of the fate of ALL cars.

The mushroom interior parts should go to someone who needs them.

Thanks,
Gerry

VIN: WDBEA36E4PB841159
Thanks for this information. If you have any other VINs from cars you have or have had, I'd appreciate them so that I can add them to the "decommissioned" list if appropriate, or just in the database as known (owned/operational) cars. I had no previous detailed record of this car, so "new" (previously unrecorded) cars like this are always welcome to the database.

Someday, we'll be very close to recording details on all 1,505 US cars imported. We've got details on a goodly (and growing) number of E500 Limited models, as well.

Cheers,
Gerry

Fancy sharing the number of cars you have registered with us? (Total, Europe and USA numbers?)

Is there a thread where over time people signing up can add their VIN#'s of their cars or maybe cars they come across at a dismantler yard?

Also perhaps an email address in case someone doesn't mind contributing to the database, but not wanting it seen over the web?

Yeah, that's actually a good idea. A sticky topic where everyone can post, and which describes how to PM Gerry if he/she wants to share it with only him...

Gerry?

The old 500Ecstasy had an "online registry" sub-forum where people could enter their VINs. I decided not to do this because some folks are sensitive about their VINs and making them public (although all US VINs are easily visible via the windshield VIN tag). Rather, I early-on instituted the "Owners and their Cars" sub-forum where people had free reign to create a thread about their car, mods, and their "story" about E500E ownership. Participation has been decent on that section, but I've never asked anyone for a VIN of a running car.

If people want to volunteer their VIN to me for the database, I absolutely welcome that, but I won't badger / explicitly solicit them for their VIN. You all see how I use the information on cars that I've recorded -- literally I just cut and paste it when cars come up for sale, as to the information that I have on them. I don't use it for any type of nefarious purpose.

In the past I have heard rumors of someone (on the East Coast?) who has some sort of majorly inclusive E500E database, but I've never seen anything definitive or specific on this. All I know is that I've been casually collecting information over the past 9.5 years when I see cars for sale, mentioned on the forum (with VIN), etc. and then sharing it back out when asked via PM, or when a car comes up as listed for sale and I have something worth sharing.

Cheers,
Gerry

Are you referring to the 1505 copies of all the USA cars window stickers that Stefan compiled in 2010 (the German student that interned at Montvale) ?

I hadn't heard of that MBUSA intern project specifically, but I do remember you saying some years back that someone you knew in New England? had compiled extensive records on various folks cars in a database or other compilation. I've never seen anything surface on that.

What was the impetus of this MBUSA project? Did he publish the results, or what was done with them?

How much for the SLS shock? One or two available? Also, is that $80 for each fuel injector, or $80 for all eight?

You may want to update your original post with prices for the new stuff shown in the photos (mirrors, turn signal lenses, fan clutch, radiator, PS pump, etc)...

Welcome

What Price for the two indicators? Left and right. U.S. version. The third brake light. Viscous coupling and a radio antenna?

And what would be the cost of shipping to Poland?
