For what year car? There are 3 different types of contact ring, depending on the year... for Euro-spec cars, might even need the VIN if it's near a model year break...

I hadn't heard of that MBUSA intern project specifically, but I do remember you saying some years back that someone you knew in New England? had compiled extensive records on various folks cars in a database or other compilation. I've never seen anything surface on that.

What was the impetus of this MBUSA project? Did he publish the results, or what was done with them?

Mike Curcio had a few hundred (2-300) cars in his DB back in late 1990's. He gave me a copy of it, but it was on a 3.5" disk !! Pretty sure I don't have it anymore...in fact I know I don't have any 3.5" disks at home anymore.

Stefan spent all summer on it I was told; printing off fiche copies of the original USA window stickers. There were 5 or 6 binders of info, 2 or 3 for 92' alone ...but I never saw them myself...for all I know he just copied a hundred cars 15 times LOL. I don't know what happened to him or the binders. The binders might still be in Montvale on some shelf. I'll be there in June, maybe I can get someone to help find them but not sure if they'd let them leave the building if they were found !

cats are sold and headliner wasn't good. Shipping a headliner would not be cheap. Try to locate one locally in junkyards. Any late w124 4 door sedan should work.
