Modern Headunit that looks correct - Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB

Jlaa is correct, nothing is plug+play with 1432 systems, which is what ALL cars had from 1991-1993 in USA.
Euro cars had multiple different stereo systems and SOME of those (non-1432) can accept different head units without nightmares. This requires both a Euro car *and* the Euro car must have the non-1432 system.
FYI, Crutchfield (no affiliation, but overall a fantastic place to order car audio gear from) now has the Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 available for pre-order, but actual ship date is unknown. One major advantage the Blaupunkt has over the Conti units is 6 channel pre-outs, 4V each. AFAIK, Crutchfield still offers plug-and-play harnesses for most vehicles when you purchase a head unit.

I noticed that the Bremen has the same issue the Continentals had with wire swapped between constant and switched when I used a 1995 E420 as the application:
"In this vehicle, the functions of the yellow and red wires in the wiring harness are reversed. The yellow wire supplies ignition power, and the red wire supplies constant power."

To bring this back to the Blaupunkt...anyone ordered from europe and installed? Not sure what the hold up is in releasing here. Any connectivity issues? Radio signal?

That should plug into a 94-up 124/129/140... give it a try.
Changer controls may not work though, I'm not sure if the connector / connections are the same.
