Fellow members, i am thinking to sell my beauty due to lack of time and space. This is not and was not my daily driver but hobby and weekend car. I have E55 & E63 too and i know what i am doing on my cars, i am Mercedes enthusiast. You can check my posts here and the VIN number but in brief what you want to know:
I bought the car in flawless condition 1 year ago - you can see the price here. It is Toronto, Canadian not Japan import car. Salvage title, i have 1 photo from the accident - left fender & bumper, the owner decided to take his insurance advantage, will post the photo but it was NOT a major accident. So i think the car is repainted in original anthracite grey color which is very rare, hood and grill is from E500, euro style headlights. I bought it from the owner of a car body shop, it was like new and believe me i am very strict and picky. Interior is black, i am not joking that still smells like new. The exterior is 9/10, like i said previous owner was owner of a body shop so it is perfect. Also car was serviced at the dealer - have the book with the stamps where you can see many preventive maintenance like transmission fluid and filter, brake fluid couple of times, coolant, Engine harness is DELHI 2006, etc. Everything is functional, AC is freezing, couple of nice upgrades like Remus muffler, Alpine complete sound system - amplifier, remote controls, etc., 18 mags with H&R hub-centric spacers. The car is really very nice, check the original steering wheel, cup holders on doors, rear door shades original, etc.
I have changed: 5w40 oil still good for another 5-6000km, correct plugs Bosch + Beru silicone wires, Bosch caps & rotors 3000km ago, LH module ( to fix ticking relay), air filters, idler arm (front suspension), Bosch O2 sensor, crankshaft position sensor, 8 rebuilt and ultrasonically cleaned injectors ( will provide the originals), fuel filter, E-gas module to fix misfire bit it didn t unfortunately so that s our common problem right but again i am very strict so what i think is left to completely make the car excellent is either the coils or other that i don t know and never tried like isolators caps but please see my videos, the car is ok i just don t like when it heats up and on stops or traffic lights to see the oil gauge jumping, not always, that s it. Highway is perfect.
Again, i have other plans and things now and if someone come here, La Prairie, Quebec, J5R0M4 ( 40 km from the US border and very close to Plattsburgh, give me 5500$ US cash - the car will be sold, with the nafta agreement i don t think that you need to pay any big $$$ to drive it back to your state. I will also provide the following parts, never had time to install them - OSRAM bulbs headlights + fog, paid 80$, 2 oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, caps and rotors, MB hydraulic oil, blink code reader and other that i probably forgot. I have 2 keys and the car has 183000 miles with the maintenance book record & stamps of course.
You understand that i won t be negotiable, i am selling the beast for 1/2 price that i have invested 1 year ago. Will post photos and video from the winter storage - tried to drive it couple of times in winter but this car is not for Quebec winter so i kept it in heated storage.
