New(ish) owner thread, Stereo and headliner Questions

I'm starting to work through some issues on my car and had some questions; mine is the black pearl/black 92 car from BaT (Bay Area, 225k miles) a few months ago.

1. I'm likely going to do the Becker Auto Sound BT upgrade to the stock headunit. What's a safe estimate for total shipping time to do this - 2 weeks? I'm also debating sending the external amps in - any way to check if they are good or not? My car generally sounds good off of CDs, with the exception of the front driver door speaker which doesn't work. I suspect this is a speaker and not a head unit issue. Also, where are these in the rear of the car - behind the tires, where the battery lives, or do I have to remove other trim bits?

2. Any headliner shop suggestions in the Bay Area? I saw a thread from about a year ago where Riccardo had done this, but I can't seem to find it now. Cost and time would be awesome.

3. The front door lock seems occasionally doesn't lock all the other doors; the trunk will. The lines going into the air compressor all look good (basically brand new), so my guess is this is an issue with the hose in the door?

4. Lastly, some center console lights just started flickering today when the brake pedal is depressed (heated seats, shifter surround, sunshade/headrests). I'm almost certain this is an issue with the rear tail light ground and haven't had a chance to really dive into it, but figured I'd post this here in case anyone else has this issue and will update you all when it's fixed.

1. The 2 stereo amplifiers, and tuner/preamp module, are all located behind the trunk trim carpet above and forward of the battery.

3. The door lock electrical signal comes from the vacuum element. Do you mean that if you try to lock the car from the front door, only the front door locks and nothing else? It could possibly be the switch that is part of the vacuum element, not sending the electrical signal to the pump to lock everything else.

:wormhole:

3. The door lock behavior is intermittent. The front door always locks, and about 75% of the time, the other three slooooowly follow. However, the other 25% of the time only the front door locks - the other three just sit there open. I then usually go to the trunk and they work. Later on that same day, all four will work from the trunk. Is this the pump itself, a line, or some electrical issue?

Played around with it again and almost certain it's an electrical switch issue in the driver door - pulled the insulation off the pump and tried locking from drivers door without any luck. Go to the trunk and all doors and trunk lock in <2 seconds, pump cycles on/off quickly. Passenger door works just as well. Is contact cleaner my best bet here, or do I need a new lock actuator?

When I inquired - I'm going to do the same thing to my Becker 1492 - they said they have a 4-week turnaround for a refurbishment/repair, addition of Bluetooth audio or an AUX jack or both.
