Yes, the Sportline rear wagon seats are VERY rare. I didn't know Jeff had them! Where did you score those, Jeff? I've seen, like, one photo from Europe...

Thanks! Yes the center console ashtray was deleted with a custom gauge pod made by Albert. the Volt meter and the Oil temp gauges are from a 190E 2.3-16 and currently not operative, but when I do the 3.6 M104 swap I will ad the temp sensor for the oil and hook up the volt meter as well.

1984 190E 2.3 5 speed manual from a 16V and soon to have a 16V engine as well. Lowere slightly on 16v springs with Koni adjustable shocks.
Black MB tex interior. Dayton Audio DSP with Blu tooth connectiviy with Brax Helix dash speakers and a JBL Nano subwoofer under the driver seat.
I learned how to drive a stick in my mom's 1984 190e 2.3. I remember every detail of that driving experience like it was yesterday. I wonder where that car is today. It was a rare bird when she bought in 1985 off the lot at the local benz dealer. It had velour seats. Great drive!! Enjoy it!! I can also remember driving a 2.3-16 when it came to the states in 1986. An even better drive!!
About 1 year ago I purchased back a 190E 2.3-16 that I used to own. It was re sprayed by the previous owner as well as a few upgrades: Wavetrac LSD, LWFW and full header back exhaust from JC aka 5thscaleracer.
Last year I drove the car 10K miles and is now effectively my daily driver.
As per usual I got carried away cleaning it and bringing her up to specs. Car currently at 290,000+ miles

So like many of the 500E500 cars, the headliner started to fail about 3-4 years ago. I have been considering having it repaired, but lady luck was on my side and I was able to secure a NIB factory headliner with a production date of 04/2008 I will have the headliner installed before the Turtle Invitational 2023.
The box was huge and I had to cut it a bit to fit in my wagon.

As I start to prepare my car for the trip to Bedford NY later this year for The Turtle Invitational step one was to bring her off the lift and actually take her out of the warehouse. I drove the car about 10 miles and she is running as nice as I remember. I will be removing the window tint as the car is pretty much a show car and the nos headliner will be installed in the coming weeks. Additionally, I will remove the Victor steering wheel for a stock Sportline wheel.
My car also had a headliner failure....it started to sag about 7 years ago and I was considering having a local shop recover a spare headliner board I had saved from a parts car, but I got lucky about a year ago and found a NOS/NIB factory headliner with an April 2008 manufacture date.
Again in preparation for the Turtle Invitational later this year I installed the headliner over the weekend with the help of a friend. see attached images
