What size wheels did you use on the pic 5th from the top? Looks like CSL55 AMG wheels, what size tires did you run?
WOW! Looks very much like direct from the factory. Never saw such a clean 500E.
Do you mind sharing any interior pictures?
My guess only to GTG/shows . Probably one of the best well kept here, if not the best! I think Jeff has a W201/16V as his daily.Stunning. This car doesn't get driven hard at all, I'd say, but do you drive it at all?
Yes, the Sportline rear wagon seats are VERY rare. I didn't know Jeff had them! Where did you score those, Jeff? I've seen, like, one photo from Europe...I didn't know they made Sportline rear seats for the wagon. Very cool!

it looks like the Benzes being shown were properly socially distanced.
@Jlaa, I prefer the EURO CLEAR w/ the white USA bulbs.(Almost) all the cool kids these days forsake “EURO CLEAR” and put OG Orange in the corners these days.![]()
I took the wagon out to a local show, Cars in the Canyon yesterday.

There must have been some 200+ cars displayed, but the Mercedes-Benz marque was under represented.

Jeff
Jeff,
what an awesome wagon!!
It ticks all the boxes: Manual gearbox, great condition, awesome looking wheels and suspension...
Is that console instead of the ashtray diy? Never seen it in a W124 and it looks great.
Thank you for letting me know! Yes, the gauges look very familiar. Thanks! Yes the center console ashtray was deleted with a custom gauge pod made by Albert. the Volt meter and the Oil temp gauges are from a 190E 2.3-16 and currently not operative, but when I do the 3.6 M104 swap I will ad the temp sensor for the oil and hook up the volt meter as well.
Jeff
Awesome car! I too have ceramic headers/downpipes on my C126, really makes a heat reduction difference.About 1 year ago I purchased back a 190E 2.3-16 that I used to own. It was re sprayed by the previous owner as well as a few upgrades: Wavetrac LSD, LWFW and full header back exhaust from JC aka 5thscaleracer.
Last year I drove the car 10K miles and is now effectively my daily driver.
As per usual I got carried away cleaning it and bringing her up to specs. Car currently at 290,000+ miles
Jeff
so jelly! So like many of the 500E500 cars, the headliner started to fail about 3-4 years ago. I have been considering having it repaired, but lady luck was on my side and I was able to secure a NIB factory headliner with a production date of 04/2008 I will have the headliner installed before the Turtle Invitational 2023.
The box was huge and I had to cut it a bit to fit in my wagon.
