I use this unit in my W123 with a 722.6. Works quite good, I think there's is some photo in my albums.

What did it cost for the kit? and was it a straight forward plug & play?

Yes it's pretty much straight forward for a person who is familiar with aftermarket ecu s and serious modifications. On a standard 500 it is a major hack.
Other than this the unit and support from ole was/is great
