Main tools I can think of would be the tools to compress the reverse piston springs/plate evenly, and the B1 cover tool. You can fabricate stuff but the actual tools are much nicer. A couple of the B1 cover tools sold on eBay recently, it's spendy from MB. There use to be a nice aftermarket kit with all of the above but I haven't seen it for sale in a few years, I don't know why. These will at least let you take apart all the external stuff for a total re-seal.
There may be additional tools needed for the internal clutch/gear work, I've never been further inside so I'm not sure. I assume you have the "big" factory manual (PDF file) that shows every procedure in detail? It's written for a G-wagen but almost all the info applies to any 722.3 trans.
